EDUCATION INITIATIVE

Strengthen Schools, Strengthen Community

INVESTING IN OUR SCHOOLS

As a pillar of philanthropy in the community, the Community Foundation is uniquely positioned to be a catalyst of positive change for public education.

Together, Dunn County public schools serve approximately 6,100 students, enrolled in 8 elementary schools, 4 middle schools, and 4 high schools across Dunn County.

The Foundation has granted over $360,000  to support education initiatives to help area students and citizens thrive.  By focusing on a particular cause, school, or outcome, we can help schools create even more life-changing results for area students.

In addition to community grants, the Community Foundation has awarded over $449,800 in academic scholarships to area graduating seniors.  See our Academic Scholarships listing

By helping to organize and promote community support for education, we can

  • Build financial resources for a school district’s long-term stability
  • Give more public visibility to the needs and aspirations of our local schools
  • Raise and direct funds to support a specific cause, school subject, classroom initiative, or student basic need.
