We are delighted to acknowledge the exceptional work of the following nonprofit organizations, whose recent contributions and project completions have significantly impacted our community. Their unwavering dedication and tireless efforts have made a positive difference in the lives of many. Together, we strive to build a stronger, more compassionate society.

Stepping Stones and CORBA (Chippewa Off Road Bike Association) each received $3,550.02 for their respective Agency Funds here at the Community Foundation as the result of the 2023 Sadistic Century Bike Ride, a fun and challenging 100-mile, 100 km, and 60 km bicycling ride in Western Wisconsin, organized by the Menomonie Sunrise Rotary Club. Congratulations to Stepping Stones and CORBA!

The Bridge to Hope is committed to ending domestic abuse, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Their purpose is to empower those who have been affected by violence, provide options, and offer support so that they can start a life that is free from abuse.

During our 2023 August grant cycle, The Community Foundation helped The Bridge replace two sets of washers and dryers for their emergency shelter so that survivors may have a fresh start.

In September, the Dunn County Health Department began distributing Sharps containers that can be returned for proper disposal. The Community Foundation fully funded this program with a $1,000 grant through the Byron and Catherine Olson Memorial Fund. Information about this program can be found below.
