20 New Funds in 2020
We celebrated the creation of Endowment Funds in 2020 by giving the donors who created a new fund the ability to surprise a charity of their choice with a $1,000 check on the day their new fund is approved by the Board. This initiative grew our community’s assets by $120,000 in 2020 which will grow to a market value of $212,519 in 25 years!
Donor Advised Funds are charitable giving funds that are established by a donor to support a cause – or causes – that the donor cares about. Designated Funds allow donors to provide an ongoing, reliable and permanent stream of support for a particular nonprofit organization. New funds have a $10,000 minimum. To make an appointment to open a fund, or to discuss options, call the Foundation at 715-232-8019.

This new initiative was a competitive, matching-grant program established to help up to five Dunn County nonprofit organizations open or build an endowment fund at the Community Foundation.

Jeans & Jewels (Virtual) Charity Gala
We moved our 2020 Jeans & Jewels Charity Gala to a virtual platform to accommodate for the current climate. While we surely missed our usual in-person gathering, we still had a great time celebrating all the wonderful things we did together throughout our 25th Anniversary year! We continued our ever-popular Dessert Dash tradition with a specialized Dessert Auction, as well as regular Auctions, a 2-hour live stream program, and also shared with you a delicious Gala Box filled with treats which many of you may have enjoyed at home with your loved ones!
