Dunn County school districts recently received a boost in educational innovation through the distribution of teacher mini-grants, aimed at enhancing classroom learning and student engagement. Funded by The Community Foundation of Dunn County’s General Teacher Mini-Grant Fund, along with multiple designated funds, donor-advised funds, scholarship funds, and public crowdsourcing, these grants support creative and impactful projects that enrich the educational experience across various grade levels and subjects.
Teachers from multiple districts in Dunn County submitted proposals for initiatives designed to improve instruction, incorporate new technologies, and foster hands-on learning opportunities. The awarded grants will help bring these ideas to life, benefiting students and strengthening the overall quality of education in Dunn County.
“The teacher mini-grants are a wonderful show of community collaboration,” School District of the Menomonie Area School Board President Rachel Henderson said. “I’m grateful to the community foundation for making the opportunity available, for the work so many teachers put into organizing projects for their classrooms, and for all of the community members who came together to support them.”
