Tomorrow is the last of our Health Coalition Planning Meetings. Following the success of last month’s Health Coalition Design Day Conference, we will be creating a formal work plan for moving forward.
The Board of Directors at the Community Foundation will make a decision on 2018 funding for the health coalition activities after this meeting.
Registration is not required.
ABOUT THE MEETING
Why: The meeting purpose is to:
- Synthesize and organize draft ideas from October meeting
- Formalize teams for taking action
- Create concrete plans to direct next steps
Where: UW-Stout Memorial Student Center, Ballroom A, 302 10th Ave E, Menomonie, WI 54751
When: Wednesday November 15th from 12.30am to 3.30pm
If you cannot be with us the whole time, consider attending part of the meeting. You don’t have to have attended past meetings to attend this meeting.

You are invited to a Health Coalition Design Day Conference
WHO
This event is free and open to individuals and organizations working to advance health in Dunn County. This includes direct health providers and others concerned with social determinants of health who want to support a healthier community and advance health equity in Dunn County.
WHY
Coalitions are created by organizations and individuals who believe that we can only create the change we need together. We want to:
- Maximize the power of individuals and groups through collective action
- Build strength by connecting individuals and organizations
- Improve trust and communication between agencies and organizations
- Increase community participation and leadership
- Mobilize diverse talents, resources, and strategies
- Share costs and associated risks; share power and reduce conflict
