The Community Foundation of Dunn County is hiring! We’re looking for an organized, personable Administrative and Events Coordinator to keep our office running smoothly and our meetings and events on track.

If you love being the person who keeps track of all the details, who greets everyone with a smile and makes sure name tags, seating charts, and follow-up emails are all in order, this could be the role for you.

About the position

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position based in our Menomonie office, reporting to our Executive Director. Pay ranges from $18 to $25 per hour depending on experience, with paid time off, holidays, and professional development assistance. The role includes occasional evening and weekend events, and some work-from-home flexibility may be available over time.

What you’ll do

Your days will be varied. You’ll welcome visitors and answer calls, prepare correspondence and mailings, and keep our office organized. You’ll coordinate board and committee meetings, prepare meeting packets and take minutes. On the events side, you’ll work with staff, event chairs, and vendors on everything from invitations and registration to seating, sponsor recognition, and auction materials, and you’ll recruit and organize the volunteers who make our events possible. You’ll also maintain donor and contact records in our database and provide general support to our small, close-knit team.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone with administrative, customer service, office, or event experience, whether that comes from a job, an internship, volunteer work, or education. You should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and a strong writer, with a warm, helpful approach and good judgment with confidential information. Comfort with Word and Excel is important; we’ll teach you the rest. A degree or nonprofit experience is helpful but not required.

How to apply

Send your resume and a cover letter to info@cfdunncounty.org, or apply through our Indeed listing. Please include a cover letter or an introductory email explaining your interest and qualifications, as applications without one will not be considered. The deadline to apply is Friday, November 13.

The Community Foundation of Dunn County is an equal opportunity employer.
