Life’s most extraordinary accomplishments are very rarely ever achieved alone, which is why the Community Foundation created the Distinguished Service Award.

This annual award recognizes attorneys, accountants, trust officers, and estate and financial planners who act as outstanding advocates in the promotion of philanthropy. These advisors have helped serve their clients better by working effectively with the Foundation to optimize their clients’ gifts to our community, adding value to their practice and client relationships.

The Foundation selected Steve Redmann as the 2022 Distinguished Service Award, for his committment to philanthropy in both his personal and professional life. The award was presented during our Evening of Gratitude event this past September.

Steve Redmann served as an Edward Jones Financial Advisor in Menomonie for 25 years. Edward Jones is a Fortune 500 company headquartered in St. Louis. As of December 31, 2021, the firm’s 18,823 financial advisors serve more than 7 million clients with more than $1.8 trillion in assets under care.

As a financial advisor, Steve helped his clients have a positive impact, not only their own financial well-being, but also on their loved ones, future generations and their community. He continues to mentor and support Edward Jones advisors in Menomonie, passing on a legacy of leadership, inspiration and action.

Steve has supported our community in countless ways, personally giving his time, talent and treasure to many area organizations, including Board leadership positions at the Menomonie Public Library Foundation and The Community Foundation just to name a few. He also serves as an Elder with Living Hope Church.

The Foundation Board and staff want to thank Steve for reminding us always that gratitude and attitude are not challenges, they are choices. Thank you for your service to us and to the greater community.
