The word philanthropy comes from a Greek word that means, “love for humanity.† For the week leading up to Valentine’s Day we will be highlighting a story from the community each day.
The Boys & Girls Club Menomonie Center officially opened October 27, 2014 at River Heights Elementary School . This center is open to children grades 3-8.
The Club was able to open in Menomonie because of a group a committed community members worked tirelessly for over two years to make it happen. Because of their love and commitment to Dunn County countless student will be able to benefit from the resources at the Boys & Girls Club.
