The Community Foundation’s Finance Committee is responsible for overseeing the financials of the organization, including quarterly financial reports, internal financial controls, annual operating budget and the annual financial Audit.
The Community Foundation of Dunn County strives to maximize investment income while managing financial risks prudently. The Community Foundation’s Investment Committee, which is composed of members with strong business and/or investment backgrounds, is responsible for overseeing our investment portfolio and making appropriate recommendations to our Board of Directors, who hold ultimate responsibility. The Community Foundation uses the services of an investment consultant to assist in the selection of funds and/or money managers to monitor investment performance. Our investment objective is to earn a return that allows donors to make numerous and significant grants while maintaining the future giving power of their endowments.
