In accordance with our corporate by-laws…
“The Board will be composed of community and business leaders residing in or near, or otherwise closely identified with the Dunn County area. Directors will be selected for their capacity to make wise judgements as to the use of philanthropic endowments for the benefit of the people of Dunn County, and their qualifications to participate effectively in the enhancement of the communities within Dunn County.”
Board members are elected for three-year terms and may serve two consecutive terms. All members of the Board of Directors are required to serve on at least one committee that includes Executive, Finance, Marketing, Investment, Grants, and Fund Development. All members of the Board also participate in the fundraising events that support Foundation operations costs, including the Charity Golf Classic (held the 2nd Wednesday of September) and the Fall Fling fundraising dinner (held in late October).
