Women’s Giving Circle of Dunn County Announces Grant Deadline
The Women’s Giving Circle of Dunn County is now accepting 2017 grant applications from area non-profits seeking support for projects that improve the lives of children and families in the Dunn County area.
The Women’s Giving Circle (WGC) of Dunn County was established as a fund of the Community Foundation of Dunn County in 2013 by a group of generous women who set out to make a difference. The WGC strengthens the spirit of women through collective philanthropy by pooling charitable giving, with a portion of funds used to grow an endowment fund, and the other portion awarded annually through a competitive grant process.
Since 2014, the WGC has awarded a total of $22,000 in grant funding to local nonprofit organizations serving Dunn County. Typical award amounts range from $500 to $2,500 each. The 2017 grant deadline is Friday, June 16. Applications must be submitted to the Community Foundation of Dunn County office by 4pm or postmarked on this date. The application is available at www.cfdunncounty.org under the “Receive” tab.
Grant Workshop: For complete details, interested applicants are encouraged to attend the WGC Grant Info Session being offered on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2017 from 10:00am-11:30am in the Menomonie Public Library Meeting Room.
